A record $194,000 was raised at the 31st Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital in the 25-county region of northeastern New York and western New England.

The Sept. 15 outing drew more than 200 golfers and 100 volunteers to the Schuyler Meadows Club in Loudonville. BBL Construction Services, LLC, and Columbia Development Companies were the Title Sponsors among more than 100 sponsors.

“Our golf tournament has continued to be a wonderful gathering of generous and devoted individual and corporate supporters and friends,” said Barbara E. Ostrov, MD, chief of service at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital. “Their support allows our world class staff to deliver the finest pediatric health care in the region in support of the patients and families who need us most.”

“Miracle Kids” – current and former patients – greeted golfers and sponsors throughout the day and ran a lemonade stand that raised nearly $1,000.
