Howard Hanna Helps Children’s Hospital

A team from Howard Hanna Real Estate Services of the Capital Region
recently delivered a $15,000 donation to The Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital.

Howard Hanna is a frequent donor, raising nearly $47,000 locally for the children’s hospital since 2017.

This year’s gift came from year-round fundraising, including a corn hole tournament, a trunk-or-treat event, a crocktober fest food-sharing party, a selfie-with-an-elfie holiday gathering, and an art show featuring local children’s paintings.

Pictured, from left, is Al Picchi, Howard Hanna senior vice president and general manager for New York State, agent Rebekah O’Neil, children’s hospital Chief of Service Barbara Ostrov, MD, and agents Brie Pilgram, LB Morse, and Jim McClenaghan.

Since 1988, the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund has given $18 million nationwide to educational, health, and humanitarian causes.

“We were so happy to have our offices come together as a region to contribute to that total,” Picchi said.

Donations of cash and such items as gift cards, toiletries, and diapers help the staff at the children’s hospital support patients and families. To make a donation, please call 518-262-3322, email development@amc.edu, or give online.
